The Whitebox ATA 188N voice gateway is an internet based single port voice gateway. IT adapts multi voice control protocols and voice compression codecs to directly convert analog voice into IP packets for internet transport, thus effectively using the existing bandwidth to provide PSTN quality voice service.

The Whitebox ATA 188N has one FXS port for use over IP and supports SIP, and IAX2 protocol, offering one 10/100Mbps Ethernet interface for connection to an existing network, one RJ11 telephone interface, and one lifeline port. The Whitebox ATA 188N is small and can be widely used in SOHO, small office, and enterprise branches.
